This winter has been rough.
The past few months have been a time for reinvention and change.
Since I left Go Daddy (or should I say since Go Daddy left me) I have been taking time to add some tools to my shed. I started Cisco training, which I am almost finished with (for now). :) In a few weeks I'll have my CCNA completed and will be a certified network geek. Hopefully this equates to better jobs that are not phone support. Either way I will be acquiring more training as my career progresses, my next immediate certification will be the CCNA Voice. It definitely helps to have a specialty focus in my field, as having one will yield more stable work. I'd love to work in Network Security in the near future, but supporting VoIP will pay the bills and buy Alexis and the Subaru nice things too :).
I've been trying to work on some of my art projects. I have written some new guitar licks and programmed some new beats. I've gotten a chance to start on a podcast. I'm putting together a sci-fi canon for a book I'm planning to write. Works in progress. Quality over quantity. Plus I'm lazy.
My health is still something that we have to keep an eye on, my organs don't like to cooperate at times, and neither do my joints or muscles on bad days. I guess that comes with stress.
Anywho, those are the comings and goings.

The Wheel Turns
I can't wait for Halloween!
It's nice to have my own house where I can have trick-o-treaters!
House will be extra creepy this year.

Work.
For the record:
I can't stand a majority of the people I work with.
I even try to be friendly with them, still they act like douchebags.
I work in a sales environment, so most of them are clueless extroverts.
As much as I want to like people, they fail at every turn.
Maybe if they got to know me outside of the workplace, they'd understand that I'm not a shallow piece of trash, which is how they treat me.
I'm a totally different person without the stress of talking to the general public.

Stress
Stress can do some crazy things to you.
This is why we have vacation time at work.
Hopefully today can relieve some of that stress.

a being is not made of sand
Known and mastered shadows beckon us,
and they cower before Him.
Their brightest desire is our undoing.
Extinction is their solution.
When you slow the rate of your breathing,
how clear the glass box they've helped you build around yourself will become.
Will, be the hammer.
Vessel, endure the cleansing.
Mind, ward off the shards.
Spirit Perpetual, you are unchanging.
Keeping the animal under control.
Remember that some of us choose to be more than monkeys.
A skeleton made from the foundation itself.
Eternal Stone unbroken, be our guide.
